Front Desk Specialist

The Front Desk Specialist is an integral member of our primary care team, providing exceptional patient service while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy, collaborative medical office.

• Serves as a primary point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming, professional, and helpful experience in person and by phone.
• Manages a variety of front-office responsibilities, including scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and coordination of patient needs.
• Works across departments to assist with referrals, medical records, release-of-information requests, and other administrative functions typically handled by specialized departments in larger practices.
• Collaborates closely with medical assistants, providers, and fellow front desk staff to ensure efficient patient flow and continuity of care.
• Uses initiative, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills to address patient needs and keep office processes moving smoothly.
• Thrives in a small-team environment where flexibility, cross-training, teamwork, and a willingness to help wherever needed are essential.
